Workplace seminars and advice

Book an appointment

Education is a high priority at Quadrant. We run a range of free and informative education seminars at workplaces around Tasmania to help members and employers better understand their super.

Topics might includ: salary sacrifice, retirement planning or any other issue concerning super. Seminars can also be tailored to suit your needs. If you have a particular topic that you would like to discuss and you can get a group of colleagues together, we can arrange a seminar specifically for you.

We can even arrange to have a Quadrant financial planner visit you at your work place to conduct a schedule of individual appointments with Quadrant members.

Advice for your employees

Unless you hold an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) or are an authorised representative of an organisation which holds an AFSL, you can't recommend any financial products or give advice about any super funds.  If you break the law, you could face hefty fines.

In your capacity as an employer, human resource manager, payroll officer or other position, work colleagues may look up to you for advice on a range of issues. Your best bet is to leave financial advice to the licensed experts and recommend they speak to a Quadrant financial planner.

It's best to refer your employee to a financial planner when they:

  • need a fund comparison
  • want advice on investments
  • would like to know how much insurance cover they should have
  • need a savings plan to ensure they have enough money for retirement (including salary sacrifice, co-contributions and personal contributions)
  • are thinking about retirement and pension products
  • are leaving employment due to total and permanent disablement or redundancy.
